    We have been buying covered coil indigenous baskets in Panama since 2000. As much as possible, with the help of our guides, we have tried to buy directly from the very best weavers in the villages and in the indigenous and Latino communities nearer the city. We have always bought as fussy collectors. Over the years we have sold  baskets to other collectors. We have supported and continue to support various projects in Wounaan and Embera villages.
    We consider our baskets to be works of art. We are now cutting back on our trips to Panama and are significantly reducing our collection. In the next few months we will be offering a variety of fairly priced, exceptional baskets for sale on Ebay.
