Vintage 1947 line crossing certificate

Description

This is a BEAUTIFUL example of a line crossing certificate. It is 15”x14” and done in lovely reds and yellows. The frame is original. The ship was the USS Argentina of Moore-McCormack Lines. See Wikipedia article below! The piece is full on interesting history. A nice way to collect a bit of maritime tradition. This particular crossing happened on August 5th 1947
