    This is a lampwork, blue simulated pearls, rhinestone rondelles and crystal bracelet. The bracelet is about 7 1/4" long.

    Lampwork is created by a lamp or torch used to melt many types of glass. Lampwork is an ancient craft and dates back to the 5th century BC. Lampwork was used extensively in Murano Italy since the 14th Century. In  times gone by it  was blown and shaped in its molten state. In modern times  a torch is used. It is used to make beads, ornaments, Christmas decorations and paperweights.
